Objectives : The Pertamina Peduli Program “Melayani Sepenuh Hati” (Serving with Heart) Food Assistance in Krukut West Jakarta, implemented by PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk in collaboration with Filantra, aims to provide essential basic needs to underprivileged communities and vulnerable groups through the distribution of food packages.
This program is expected to help alleviate the social and economic burdens of the community in meeting their daily basic food needs. Furthermore, this initiative also aims to strengthen social concern and encourage collaboration between the company and its partners in supporting the welfare of those in need.
Challenges :
In line with the economic conditions of the community facing pressure due to the rising prices of basic commodities, the implementation of this assistance program also encountered several challenges on the ground, including:
- Limited purchasing power of underprivileged communities due to the increase in basic food prices
- High demand for food assistance amidst an unstable economic climate
- Limited access for some community members to fulfill decent basic needs
- Increasing household expenditure burdens, particularly for daily food requirements
- The need for well-targeted assistance distribution to ensure it reaches those truly in need
- Challenges in reaching vulnerable groups within urban areas that have diverse socio-economic conditions
Solutions :
In response to the economic conditions of the community affected by the rising prices of basic commodities, this program was implemented through steps focused on fulfilling basic needs and providing social support for underprivileged communities, including:
- Distribution of food packages to underprivileged communities and vulnerable groups in the Krukut area, West Jakarta
- Provision of basic food assistance to help meet the community’s daily needs
- Implementation of the program as a form of social support in response to the weakened purchasing power of the community
- Direct distribution of assistance to those in need to ensure it is accurately targeted
- Collaboration between PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk and Filantra to ensure the assistance is properly distributed

Amidst the rising prices of basic commodities and increasingly challenging economic conditions, food security has become the most crucial issue for underprivileged communities, especially in Krukut Village, West Jakarta. Through the Pertamina Peduli Program “Melayani Sepenuh Hati”, 90 food packages were distributed to help meet daily basic needs while alleviating the expenditure burden of the affected community.
