SOLUTION:
The social mapping activity conducted by Filantra with the support of PT PLN UIT JBB in Ketos Village was carried out smoothly and received positive feedback from the community, village officials, and various local organizations. This activity successfully depicted the socio-economic conditions of the community, identified potential, issues, vulnerable groups, and key actors in the village’s social life. During the implementation, it was found that the majority of the community works in the informal sector with a standard of living below the minimum wage, as well as urgent needs related to health post facilities, waste management, and improving the welfare of health post cadres. The results of this mapping led to a number of recommendations for empowerment programs based on local potential, which can serve as strategic guidelines for designing and implementing CSR programs that are targeted, participatory, sustainable, and highly effective.
IMPACT:
Overall, the social mapping activity in Ketos Village has significantly impacted the creation of a strong foundation for the implementation of effective, participatory, and sustainable CSR programs. This activity aligns the interests of the company, the community, and the village government toward a harmonious development direction. With the results of the in-depth mapping, the programs to be implemented are expected to improve community well-being, reduce the potential for conflict, and strengthen collaboration among stakeholders in a sustainable manner.
