OBJECTIVE:
Aksi Siaga Sehat Program in Pancoran District aims to improve community health, particularly in RT 001/RW 005 of Duren Tiga Subdistrict, Pancoran, South Jakarta. This is achieved through integrated healthcare services such as health education, general medical check-ups, metabolic screenings, and supplementary nutrition support for toddlers.

CHALLENGES:

  • Low public awareness of the importance of preventive health check-ups.
  • Limited access to regular healthcare services in densely populated neighborhoods.
  • Lack of nutritional support for vulnerable groups such as toddlers.
  • Diverse individual health needs requiring personalized approaches.

SOLUTIONS:

  1. Implementation of Integrated Health Services
Conducted on February 18, 2025, at the Secretariat of RT 001/RW 005, involving a full medical team (doctors, nurses, pharmacists, volunteers, and drivers).
  2. Health and Metabolic Screenings
Included blood pressure checks, doctor consultations, and testing for blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid.
  3. Health Education Sessions
Provided knowledge on healthy lifestyles to raise public health awareness.
  4. Supplementary Nutrition Support (PMT)
Distributed to 25 toddlers in the form of milk, biscuits, and fruits to support their nutritional needs.
  5. Monitoring and Diagnosis Recording
The most common diagnoses included respiratory infections (ISPA), osteoarthritis (OA), hypertension, and gastritis, serving as a basis for further health interventions.

IMPACTS:

  • Improved Access to Healthcare:
A total of 269 services were provided to 112 beneficiaries across various age groups, with elderly participants making up 49%.
  • Early Disease Detection:
Metabolic screenings helped identify non-communicable disease risks at an early stage.
  • Child Nutrition Support:
Nutritional packages contributed to meeting the essential dietary needs of toddlers.
  • Increased Health Awareness and Knowledge:
Health education reached all participants, fostering a culture of healthy living in the community.

Relevance to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

  • SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being
  • SDG 2: Zero Hunger (specifically through nutrition support for toddlers)
  • SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals
